1. Data Processing

This application processes media files and manifests as provided by a user to validate conformance with industry standards. In order to do this, these files are uploaded and stored on the server that hosts the application.

Anonymized usage data is stored for application improvement purposes only.

2. Storage of Preferences

This application stores your consent preference as part of the session. No personal information is collected or stored on our servers beyond the files you upload for validation.

3. Data Retention

Our hosted demo clears expired sessions and related files once a day. Sessions expires an hour after the last interaction.

4. User Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access any personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

5. Self-Hosted Option

If you prefer not to have our servers retrieve your content, a self-hosted version of this applicatoin is available. You can install and run the validation tool locally on your own infrastructure.

• Download and installation instructions are available at the github wiki.
• The self-hosted version provides the same validation capabilities without sending data to external servers.
• This option is recommended for sensitive or confidential content.
